The Caboolture Historical Village is a real life museum - a village in the making and will be an ongoing project for many years to come.

Most of the Buildings in the village have been relocated from the Shire of Caboolture. They have been restored by the Historical Society's "Dad's Army" with help from Woodford prisoners, community service workers, community groups such as Apex, Lions, Rotary and Quota, and volunteer helpers.

All the buildings are furnished with thousands of items, which have been donated. With nearly 14,000 items in the collection of the Caboolture Historical Village there is sure to be something that is of special interest to every visitor.

Functions: Reception venues: The Stanmore Hall is an old community hall with a rustic charm, The hall has seatiing and tables for 70. The Village Hotel & Function Room, The Hotel is an example of a typical Australian Bush Pub complete with all it's casual charm. The Function Room has seating and tables for 72 guests.
Special Events: The Village Chapel - A quaint little chapel that is well over 100 years old is available for celebrant conducted weddings. The Chapel seats 60-70 people. For a truly historical feel to your special day why not use the horse & buggy. The horse & buggy is available for use within the grounds of the Village and for photography for a total duration of one & half hours. The '57' Holden - A beautifully restored Holden that will compliment your wedding. This vehicle is available for use within the grounds.
