"Magnums On Magnetic" is located directly across the road from 2 spectacular beaches & offers both 6 & 10 share dormitory accommodation as well as private poolside doubles & twins. ALL rooms have en suite bathrooms, air-conditioning & ocean views!! whilst the doubles also have colour TVs & tea & coffee making facilities for that little bit of extra comfort. Just a short bus ride from the ferry terminal "Magnums On Magnetic" offers lots of budget accommodation in a tropical setting frequented by an array of bird life & native wildlife & is situated across from Alma & Geoffrey Bays. With great facilities onsite, a bus stop out the front of the resort providing easy access to other areas of the island & a choice of transport freely available to you, i.e by foot, mini moke, bicycle, bus, taxi, topless car, scooter, or 4 WD . . . there are no shortage of options to assist you to get the most out your holiday!

I am a Townsville local and took friends from NSW to Magnetic Island for a getaway. We were only after a cheap place to stay and did not have high expectations...and we were still disappointed! The rooms smell so much that 2 members of our group were sick the next day and ended up leaving early ... Read More (Date of experience: May, 2010 )
