Gee Dee's Family Cabins offer affordable self-contained accommodation at Karumba Point. Ideal for couples, families and groups. This is the only stretch of beach that can be reached by a sealed road in the Gulf Savannah region. Well known for its sunsets, fishing and prawning, this area is also rich in bird-life.

Choose from a range of clean, ensuite guest cabins, units or holiday house with air-conditioning and all linen supplied. Laundry facilities, ample parking, internet access and BBQ area provided.

We also have for hire, 14 foot tinnies, a 15 foot Poly Craft and a BBQ/Party Boat. All require a licenced person to operate them. Fuel, an esky with ice supplied. Boats are launched and retreived for you.

Further Information: Gee-Dee's also have a 3 Bedroom Holiday House. Two bedrooms with Queens size beds. And the other bedroom has four single beds. All rooms are air conditioned. It has full kitchen facilities and ample parking. There is a 5 night minimum stay.
Local Area: Karumba was once a base for Empire flying boats on their journey from Sydney to London and later as a Royal Australian Air Force base for Catalina Flying Boats. Karumba Point has a history that goes back as far as 1872.
Getting There: On approaching Karumba, just after the advertising signs start, there is an intersection with a sign pointing to Karumba Point. Take this road and continue until the cross road intersection, turn left here and we are on the left about 50 meters down.
