Gee Dee's Family Cabins offer affordable self-contained accommodation at Karumba Point. Ideal for couples, families and groups, it's well-known for its fishing and prawning. This is the only stretch of beach that can be reached by a sealed road in the Gulf Savannah region. Well known for its fishing and prawning, this area is also rich in bird-life.

Choose from a range of clean, ensuite guest cabins, units, flats or holiday house with air-conditioning and all linen supplied. Laundry facilities, ample parking, internet access and BBQ area provided.

We also have for hire, 14 foot tinnies, a 15 foot Poly Craft and a BBQ/Party Boat. All require a licenced person to operate them. Fuel, an esky with ice and bait supplied. Boats are launched and retreived.

Further Information: Gee Dee's also have a 3 Bedroom Holiday House 2 bedrooms with queens size beds and the third bedroom has four single beds, All bedrooms have aircons, full kitchen facilities. As well as 2 multiroom flats which sleep upto 5 persons. Both are fully self contained and are airconditioned. These have a 3 night minimum stay.
Local Area: Karumba was once a base for Empire flying boats on their journey from Sydney to London and later as a Royal Australian Air Force base for Catalina Flying Boats. Karumba Point has a history that goes back as far as 1872.
