The Harbour City Hotel offers quality backpackers accommodation in the heart of Sydney, close to all site-seeing locations. Most rooms are dormitory style, however Single/Twin and Double rooms are available. All rates include a light breakfast and linen. The Harbour City Hotel is four stories high, 222-bed backpackers hostel located on a prominent corner block in Woolloomooloo, in the centre of Sydney. It's bounded by Sir John Young Crescent (west), Crown Street (east) and at the rear of the building Cathedral Street (south)

Opposite The Harbour City Hotel is the 'Domain', and the entrance to the Domain car park. The Domain is a large grassy area that is often used as an entertainment venue. Located in and around the Domain grounds there are playing fields, walkways, a cafe, many large shady trees and the Art Gallery of NSW. In the background Sydney's horizon can be seen with Centre Point Tower being the most prominent feature.
