I have just returned from a weekend away at the Chalet Suisse and have had a fantastic time. Although only a few hours from Sydney it felt a million miles away from the hectic city. Getting ThereComing from Sydney & Canberra: Travel along Highway 1 (Princes Hwy) to BATEMANS BAY. Go over bridge to 2nd traffic light. Turn left and follow this road (Beach Road) until you come to "SURF BEACH. After shops at SURF Beach turn right into "Surf Beach Ave, go to the top of the hill to the T-intersection. Turn left. Go along "The Ridge Road" for another 800metres and you are at our entrance. 2. From Melbourne: Travel on Princes Highway to Batemans Bay. At MacDonalds turn right. You are then on "Beach Road". Follow instructions as above.
