Location: Departure is from Hamilton Island which was developed after Airlie Beach that has its nearest airport more than half an hour drive by taxi and a lot longer by the local bus. We established our base on the Hamilton Island because travelling time to our marina berth from the airport is less than 5 minutes, rather than the cheaper (for us) alternative on the mainland at Airlie Beach for our guests convenience, not ours ! Once we depart our base at the marina, we are immediately sailing the waterways that are world famous and can quickly enjoy all the activities mentioned above.
