Cedars convenient location is 2 hours from Sydney CBD and one hour from Newcastle Airport. Bistro Molines, one of the best restaurants in the Hunter is just 8 minutes drive, as well as Briar Grillade at Briar Ridge for alfresco day time dining. There are 8 award winning boutique wineries in Mount View, on Mount View Road, which is the scenic route to the main tourist area of Pokolbin.

All cottages have two person spas with views, cosy fires, reverse cycle air conditioning, large LCD or plasma screens with satellite channels, IPOD docks and surround sound. There are expansive views from all rooms, and the large decks that have a gas BBQ, outdoor dining and reclining facilities. Full breakfast supplies are provided.

Bistro Molines and Briar Grillade are a short scenic drive along with Mt View boutique wineries. The main tourist area of Pokolbin has award winning wineries,restaurants, cafes, galleries, craft shops, antique stores, hot air ballooning, horse-riding, speciality shops, cheese and chocolate factories and Hunter Valley Gardens. An extensive range of beauty treatments available at The Golden Door Resort Spa, Pokolbin. Major supermarkets and shopping at Cessnock. Cessnock airport is next to the visitors information centre in Pokolbin
