Tamborine Mountain Trail Rides is nestled in the foothills of the Gold Coast's Tamborine Mountain in Thunderbird Park, a 115 hectare rainforest retreat, providing cool, green rainforest trails & rugged mountain tracks with breathtaking views.
We offer 30 minute , 1 hour and 1.5 hour rides, catering for the nervous beginner to the experienced horse person. We also offer pony lead rides for children and pony birthday parties. Our horses are well trained & cared for & our friendly, experienced staff will ensure your experience is safe & enjoyable.
Tariff includes helmets, riding boots & basic instruction before heading out onto the trail. An age restriction of 6 years applies for trail rides, however younger children can have a short lead ride on a pony. Weight limit of 95kg applies. Bookings essential. Open every day except Tuesdays.
Facilities include fully licensed bar, restaurant & cafe, accommodation ranging from camping to luxury resort rooms!

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and relaxed by all the staff and owners! The landscape and trails we rode through were simply breathtaking - and we even saw lots of wildlife including lizards and birds! The horses were safe, quiet and extremely well behaved and even the saddles were comfy! A riding experience second to none and fabulous for riders of all abilities!
