St Arnaud Guest House provides affordable B&B accommodation in the centre of Melbourne. Set within an 1800's family mansion, our aim is to provide clean and comfortable accommodation for all travellers.

We have over fifty rooms which vary in size from small singles to large balconied doubles and are well equipped with a colour TV, fridge, microwave, kettle, heater, wardrobe and dressing table. None of our rooms have en-suite bathrooms but there are bathrooms in each corridor.

St Arnaud has wireless internet throughout the building. We have a fantastic location just on the southern side of the city, in the heart of South Yarra, which is home to the beautiful Botanical Gardens. You could walk through the park and along the Yarra River to get into the city or you could just hop on the tram, which runs outside our door.

Further Information: We have a fully equipped communal kitchen and provide a help yourself continental breakfast with help yourself tea, coffee, cereals, orange juice, preserves and bread. You are welcome to use our kitchen and cook for yourself just as long as you are willing to clean up! There's also a large dining room with 3 computers, and cable tv - open 24 hrs!
Local Area: There is shopping and dining to cater for all budgets along Toorak Rd an Chapel Street. The number 8 tram runs along our street so everything is only a short ride away - St Kilda's fashionable restaurants and beaches, the city, the Melbourne Cricket Ground and Albert Park - home of the Melbourne Grand Prix. All trams and trains are within walking distance.
