The Lodge is an award winning Queenslander pole home, set in World Heritage rainforest just minutes from the beach. Guest accommodation, separate to the main house, is fully ensuite. We have a great swimming pool with a waterfall feature - the best in the area. The colourful grounds have a tropical feel to them - lots of native plants to attract scores of birds and butterflies, including the Ulysses.

There is a large guest lounge - complete with TV, DVD, stereo, library, games (Trivial Pursuit, chess, backgammon etc..) and brochures for all the tour operators in the area. Almost all the tour operators pick up and drop off for free at the Lodge. We have plenty of DVDs - so if it is raining there is plenty of entertainment here at the Lodge.

So what else do you get for your money ?? Well, we serve the yummiest brekky on offer in all Queensland (probably !!). And how good is this folks - we offer complimentary drinks - tea, coffee, soft drinks and BEER. Wow !! what a bargain.

Details

Local Area: Mission Beach is the closest mainland point to the Great Barrier Reef. Several operators go to the reef, and almost all pick up and drop off at the Lodge free of charge. White water rafting on the Tully river is close by - this is a great day out. Sky Dive from 14,000 feet and land on the beach - wow !! Sea Kayaking is also here - another stunning day with a great knowledgeable guide.
Further Information: Mission Beach is blessed with some great restaurants - there are no big chain fast food outlets here. Now is that paradise or what !! No trouble parking your car, no parking meters. 14 km of beach. What else could you want ?? A cup of tea or coffee on arrival, along with a biscuit, cake or muffin - OK we do that, no worries.
