Helen Norton left Australia in the year 2000 to reside and paint in Vanuatu. She lives on the island of Efate with her two sons where she has set up her painting studio.

Norton believes in the creative visual image as a tool to remove you from a train of destructive or negative thought by re-inventing your reality for a moment, sometimes just long enough to give you a solution. We all understand the modern day problem of "brain gridlock" only too well.
