Stenno's Sport Fishing Tours

Fishing guides are anything but scarce in most coastal communities in this country and the further one heads north, the more bewildering the choice.

Stenno, as he likes to be called conducts his guided fishing operation from a typical North Queensland hut situated near the banks of the Barrattas Creek system just north of Ayr or about an hours drive south of Townsville. If you fly in for a few days fishing, he will pick you up and return you to the Townsville Airport.

Specialising in all facets of fishing, from lure and fly casting to soaking a bait, Stenno extends the tropical fishing experience with some good old country hospitality. Clients may stay at the hut where Stenno and his good wife Lynn treat guests to an experience not likely forgotten. Bush cookery is a major part of that experience and both are sensational masters of typical Aussie culinary delights.
