Brockhurst Cabins are set on 22 acres, and perched high on a ridge with spectacular Queensland mountain and rural views. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a chance for the family (and the dog!) to get together and relax.

Brockhurst Cabins Farmstay offers a beautiful outlook; at night Brisbane's city lights twinkle in the distance. By day swim in our spring fed dam, BBQ, relax and enjoy the farm animals and wildlife in their natural surroundings. In winter you can curl up in front of your cosy log fire and watch the mountain mist roll in. Well-behaved dogs welcomed. Children will love the farm activities, which include paddling the raft on the dam, patting and feeding the farm animals, collecting the chicken eggs, a lead pony ride. just to name a few!

Choose from our great cabin-style accommodation: Ridge Top Cabin sleeps 4 people with air-conditioning. For a larger group, Snuggle Inn Cabin sleeps 7 people. All accommodation includes great kitchen facilities TV, radio and CD player. Bath and shower facilities. Dine al fresco from the Gas BBQ provided for your use on the large veranda.

Getting There: Directions to Brockhurst Cabins Farmstay Retreat: Head north from Brisbane on Bruce Highway towards Sunshine Coast. Turn left onto Dohles Rocks Rd follow for about 15 mins until you reach Anzac Ave. Turn left onto Anzac Ave until you reach Petrie Roundabout. Turn right into Dayboro Rd at roundabout, follow for 15 mins to Dayboro Turn right onto Mt Mee Rd follow for 15 mins. Brockhurst Cabins on left, 2250 Mt Mee Rd Ocean View. (Road numbers are on yellow sticks in front of the entrances).
Things to do: 45 minutes to Australia Zoo, 25 minutes to North Pine Country Markets (Sundays), full of craft stalls, historic buildings and a museum, 15 minutes to the country town of Dayboro with its typical Australian character. Stroll through the town with its old post office, pub, galleries and craft shops. 10 minutes to Mt Mee State Forest where you can swim in the natural rock pools, picnic and take a short or long rainforest walk. 3 minutes to taste local wine at the wineries, cafes and restaurants. Brockhurst Cabins is great for a Farm Stay experience and can be used as a base to visit other places eg, Brisbane, or the Sunshine Coast.
