Offering seclusion, privacy and tranquility in a natural environment. Visit our charming alpacas or take one of a number of bush walks and see many different birds and orchids. Spot a koala, the brush turkey family and a goanna along the way.

Relax on your own private verandah with BBQ facilities and watch the wallabies grazing nearby and the many different birds that will visit your cottage. "Greedy" the King Parrot can be fed by hand.

Things to do: Vist the many nearby art galleries, restaurants and wineries, craft and coffee shops, National Parks, the Glasshouse Mountains, scenic drives and picnics. Australia Zoo is 25mins drive away. Sail, fish or swim in nearby Lake Baroon or go horse riding. A massage in the privacy of your own cottage can also be arranged for you.
Further Information: At reception, you will find tourist brochures to help you plan your activities as well as a small selection of Tasmanian timber craft and locally made pottery especially made for Maleny Country Cottages. Come and see us if you want to get better acquainted with our alpacas. Remember to bring your camera.
