Since 1991, Lazenby Yoga has taught a Dynamic Yoga, developed by Murray Lazenby, based on the Iyengar style.
Dynamic Yoga creates a harmonious union between body and mind, bringing a sense of peaceful wellbeing. It enhances strength, stamina, flexibility, balance, mental clarity and equanimity. It assists breathing and posture and reduces stress. Yoga tones and conditions, developing lithe, supple and graceful physiques. It complements athletic performance and reduces sports injuries.
All physical yoga is known as Hatha Yoga. Dynamic Yoga focuses on alignment and clear, detailed instructions giving you the experience of Yoga and it's benefits more deeply.
Our teaching uses an understanding of how lifestyle and past experiences and principles of anatomy vary the way you feel the benefits of Yoga practice. With this understanding, classes subtly and gradually build your knowledge and accomplishment of Yoga. It's also fun!
