An oasis in the outback, the Desert Palms is a 3.5 star property offering individual studio villas set around a crystal clear pool, waterfall and surrounded by tropical palm trees. Villas are air-conditioned with ensuites and kitchenette facilities. The hotel offers outstanding value for the visitor wanting comfort at an affordable price.

Located in the main accommodation centre of Alice Springs on the banks of the Todd River, close to town, Lasseters Casino, Convention Centre and the Golf Club is our backyard. Although we do not have a restaurant on the premises for those who would like to dine out, some of Alice Springs best restaurants are within metres of the Desert Palms.

There is a small kiosk/shop on-site where food items and liquor can be purchased. WiFI and secure gated off street parking is also provided.

The Desert Palms offers a calm, peaceful environment, which creates a sense of relief for the often-weary traveller.

Car parking: There is secure gated off street parking directly outside each villa, and a licensed mini mart for your convenience. The Desert Palms Resort also has an attractive pool with island, gazebo, waterfall and footbridge to the island, a true oasis in the desert. Guest Laundry, large Undercover BBQ area and Wifi are also available.
Getting There: The Desert Palms Resort fronts the Todd River and is situated just one kilometre from the centre of town. Lasseters Casino, Alice Springs entertainment hot spot and the Convention Centre are only 300 metres from the Desert Palms Resort. The Alice Springs international standard golf course is right at our backyard!
Restaurant/Bar: Although we do not have a restaurant on the premises for those who would like to dine out, some of Alice Springs best restaurants are within metres of the Desert Palms. These include the Golf Course Club House, Hanumans (Indian/Thai) and Balloons Bistro at the Crowne Plaza and four restaurants at Lasseters Casino including the Juicy Rump.
Further Information: Alice Springs Airport Shuttle service operates transfers to and from Alice Springs airport and hotels. Otherwise taxis are available. Otherwise if travelling by car from the North along Stuart Hwy turn left onto Stott Tce, right South Tce, left Tunks Crossing, right Barrett Drive 600 mtrs. Or from the South past Heavitree Gap, turn right at large roundabout & take last exit to South Terrace. Turn right onto Stephens Rd over bridge, turn left on Barrett Drive 600 mtrs.
