Stayed a couple of weeks ago and simply loved this place. Super quiet location, wonderfully lush natural environment and close to everything in the area. $690AUD got us 3 nights which wasn't cheap but better value than anything else we could find of a similar standard ... We stayed at the Falls this weekend for a family party around the corner, so the location was great. It was clean and comfortable, but we felt vastly overpriced. The furniture and amenities are very utilitarian and it is missing luxurious niceties like snugly bathrobes, a selection of teas and coffees, a flat screen TV, a selection of pillows (I like mine soft), heated towel rails, iPod dock, movies on demand, lots of hanging and cupboard space for clothes, comfy sofas to lounge on and a welcome gesture like a chocolate on the pillow ... I stayed at the Falls Mountain retreat over the 2009 Christmas holidays. It was a truly fantastic place. The apartments are modern, contemporary and very clean.
