Master craftsman Ian Cameron is an artisan of the old school. Searching the countryside for selected Australian native timbers - including she oak, red cedar, silky oak, river red gum, ironbark, gidgee and yellow wood - he utilises traditional joinery techniques, such as mortice and tenon and dovetailing, combined with the best modern adhesives, polishes and components, to construct beautiful, functional and timeless furniture.
From chairs and tables to wine-racks, from chests of drawers through to rocking chairs, beds, bowls and bookcases, every custom-made item designed and produced in Ian's Bangalow workshop, (located near Byron Bay, Australia's eastern-most point) is heirloom quality, built to last for generations.
Fine Ian Cameron furniture and handcrafted individual woodwork is found in galleries throughout Australia, in St Andrews Cathedral, Sydney, and in homes of distinction around the globe.
