Experience the trip of a lifetime aboard our fast and luxurious 20 meter catamaran, Tasman Venture. Travel to the most Northerly point of Fraser Island-Sandy Cape. Take a fully guided tour to the Lighthouse, the oldest man made structure on Fraser Island. Relax and enjoy the pristine Western Side of Fraser Island and a seafood platter while the crew prepare a BBQ lunch of Rib Fillet steak, chicken kebabs and salads. Tasman Venture has a smaller amphibious vessel that will keep your feet dry for the transfers to the beach. The final stop is Wathumba Creek. Tours: Departing the Great Sandy Straits Marina daily from Mid November to March. 8.00am to 5.00pm
Features: We provide free Pick-up from accommodation. (In the Hervey Bay Area). Morning and Afternoon tea, SEAFOOD and BBQ lunch. Friendly, professional staff who are there to cater to your every need. Kayaks, snorkelling equipment and fishing gear provided. A well stocked licensed bar and kiosk.
Please Note: The walk to the Sandy Cape Lighthouse is 1.2km with most of the walk being up a steep incline in soft sand. A medium level of fitness is required to partake in this section of the Tasman Venture Tour.
