Local Area: The Flying Fish Point Van Park is situated approximately 7 kms from Innisfail and is within "The Great Green Way", an area of outstanding natural beauty spanning from Townsville to Cairns in Tropical North Queensland, Australia. The area includes two World Heritage listings. These being the Wet Tropics Rainforests and the Great Barrier Reef. We have over 25 tropical islands off our coast, over 12 mainland National Parks, and we are the closest mainland access in Queensland to the Outer Barrier Reef. The Great Green Way encompasses the four shires of Hinchinbrook, Cardwell, Johnstone, and Cairns City.
