Lawn Bowls in Sydney - Gladesville Lawn Bowling and Sports Club is widely known for being 'The Friendly Club' with Top Lawn Bowls Greens, good food and the cheapest drinks in town. The club is also known as Gladesville Sporties and has been actively improving facilities over the last few years attracting members and guests who enjoy sports entertainment and good food. Gladesville Sporties offer the following facilities: two high quality bowl greens, restaurant and bistro, function auditorium with private bar, seminar room, large outdoor decks, Lounge area, sports bar with big screens and dedicated TAB, large LCDs throughout, KENO, snooker and games room, ATM, wheelchair access and off street parking.

Gladesville Sporties provides an excellent social environment for your fun day out and team building experience. The lawn bowls greens are available for corporate bowls days and private casual bookings. Our registered coaches will be delighted to introduce you to the game. All Bowling equipment, full bar service and catering is available to suit your individual needs.

Further Information: By Public Transport: From Sydney CBD: Bus 506/518 (Wynyard) and 500/506/520 (Town Hall), 40 minutes. From Ryde: Bus 501/506/510/515/516, 20 minutes. From Chatswood: Bus 536 Stand B (West Side station), 35 minutes. It is recommended to call 131500 for exact departure times.

Getting ThereCar: From Sydney CBD: Follow Victoria Rd through Balmain and Drummoyne. On the Gladesville bridge stay in the middle lane and go right towards Hunters Hill. After the bend immediately move to the left to go up and turn left towards Gladesville. Follow to the right when it turns into Ryde Rd, all the way past the traffic lights at Pittwater Rd and find Gladesville Sporties on the right. From Ryde: On Victoria Rd towards Gladesville, turn left into Monash Rd. then first right into Ryde Rd and you will find Gladesville Sporties on the left. From Chatswood: On Epping Rd turn left into Centennial Ave. At Hunters Hill turn right towards Gladesville. Follow to right when it turns into Ryde Rd all the way past traffic lights at Pittwater Rd and find Gladesville Sporties on the right.
