Completed in October 1961, this 1,450,000 Cubic Metre dam is the main source of drinking water for the Perth metropolitan area. The Serpentine Dam, one of the biggest in Western Australia, is the proud home of Cafe on the Dam.

Cafe on the Dam offers real Aussie bush tucker and real Aussie bush views as it sits perched atop the Serpentine Dam in Serpentine National Park. The cafe is open seven days a week for breakfast, brunch, lunch, morning / afternoon teas, drinks, finger foods and takeaway sandwiches. Chef Sarah Maddern will certainly have you feeling very satisfied.

Located only 45 minutes south of Perth city, guests can enjoy the Parterre native garden, the photography and wood gallery, marvellous gift shop and spectacular views of the Dam. Groups are more than welcome and make sure you bring the kids.
