Balgownie Heritage School Museum

Founded in 1989, the Balgownie Primary School Museum aims to preserve the history of the Illawarra through the conservation of artifacts, documents, and photographs of the local area.

Enthusiastic volunteers have assembled an exhaustive collection of records tracing the mining and educational history of the area.

Exhibits also include an impressive display of badges, medals and postcards from World War 1 to the present.
