Golden Ponds is a commercial fish and marron farm set on almost one-hundred acres of rural land at Baldivis. Some seventy acres is taken up by fifty-four man made ponds of varying sizes. These ponds are home to approximately sixty-thousand Silver Perch and Black Bream fresh water fish and about two-hundred thousand marron.

Visitors may join a guided tour and follow the cycle of the farms stock growth, from aquarium to specialist breeding tank to pond. You may, if you wish, try your hand at catching your own fish and/or marron. A visit to Golden Ponds is an outing with a difference, entertaining and informative for adults, children and especially family groups.

Golden Ponds offers a unique recreational setting for family fun seekers, social groups or those simply wanting to try their hands at fishing. We even accommodate fly-fishing for experienced anglers.

A popular tourist destination, Golden Ponds is an outstanding concept, which offers visitors many options. Whether you choose to stay for an hour or the entire day, the relaxing surrounds are ideal for fishing, canoeing, bike riding or simply strolling.

absolute waste of money. We doubt there was even any fish in the pond.
One ponds smell was that bad that even if there was any fish in it, it was probably not edible. The other, you had more of a chance at catching a duck than a fish and all you caught in the big dirty pond was reeds/grass (after every cast)
We didn't get one bite, nor did anyone else that was there all day
