Heavitree Gap Tavern

At Heavitree Gap Tavern, at the Heavitree Gap Outback Lodge in Alice Springs, NT, you can enjoy a bistro style meal whilst enjoying local entertainment such as a reptile show and local balladeers!

The tavern features TAB/Sky channel, giant screen television, pool tables, gaming machines and beer garden incorporating The Ghan Bar and Grill which is open for dinner 6pm - 9pm Monday to Saturday. On Sunday a 3 course carvery is served between 6pm and 9pm. The Tavern is open 10am - 12pm daily.

The Red Centre Dreaming Dinner and Show is one of the most popular attractions at Heavitree Gap Tavern. This authentic, traditional and contemporary Aboriginal performance features dancing, weaponry, group interaction, didjeridu playing and cultural history. The purpose built facility is situated within a strikingly beautiful bush setting. Included in the evening is a three course dinner with wine and soft drink. The menu features soup served with damper, barramundi, smoked lamb or kangaroo, with a choice of salad or vegetables served buffet style.
