Arakoon Winery

Arakoon wines started production in 1999 and is owned and managed by Raymond and Patrik Jones.

Grapes are sourced from Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek in South Australia. The wine is made in McLaren Vale and the company is operated from McLaren Vale and South West Rocks, N.S.W.

Arakoon is an aboriginal name of a forest area near South West Rocks that is thought to mean place without water or place near water. Indeed, the pacific ocean is right next to South West Rocks!
