- Barmera has a Mediterranean type climate and more sunshine hours than the Gold Coast. The park is located on the shores of Lake Bonney and attracts tourists and holiday makers all year round. Green lawns, shady trees and beautiful sunsets create a wonderful atmosphere to relax or play. The lake is ideal for sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, skiing, boating and fishing.

We loved Lake Bonney, and are headed back for a second time in a few weeks. Kids loved the jumping pillow, the peddle boats and going out on the canoe. The amenities block could have been cleaner, didn't help that a family with lots of teens were staying and they kept putting loo paper all over the floor in the toilets ... Read More
