Leichardt Street Studios Inc

M16 inc is a not-for-profit arts organization and artist run initiative located in the inner south of Canberra.

As an organization it represents a continuation of the Leichhardt Street Studios, one of the oldest artist-operated initiatives in the ACT. The organization is now moving to its 20th year and is devoted to the professional development of artists in the ACT.

The facility accommodates around 30 artists and 2 community arts organizations in individual studio spaces. There are also two gallery spaces - the M16 Artspace and a more informal foyer gallery - which provide members of M16 the opportunity to market their art practice.
