Nitmiluk National Park Campgrounds allows visitors to experience the slendours of the National Park at your doorstep. Fully serviced and and well-maintained caravan and camping grounds are availabe.

The beautifully landscaped resort style swimming pool offers a haven for visiotrs to cool off from the tropical sunshine or enjoy a drink ppolside. The campgrounds are centrally located below the escarpment entrance near the departure point for boat cruises and canoes, with several short walking tracks nearby.

Things to do: A huge range of activites are available to guests staying at the Nitmiluk National Park Campgrounds. These include: Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge Boat Cruises, Canoe Hire, Helicopter Scenic Flights as well as many hiking trails. Dining facilies within the Nitmiluk Visitors centre are available along with interactive displays and souvenir shop. The Poolside Bar and Grill is also open during the Dry season for Poolside Dining.

We stayed here and went canoeing up the gorge and took a boat cruise- sensational. It was so hot I slept comfortably in a swag. But I was a bit worried as there are a fair few bats around! The wallabies are gorgeous and everywhere around the place ... Read More (Date of experience: Jul, 2008 )
