Since being completely refurbished at the end of 2006 North Bar has positioned it self as one of Canberra's premier lounge and cocktail bars. Located on Northbourne Avenue, North Bar specialises in a premium liquor selection, fine cocktails, Absolut vodka infusions (all made in house!) and a new light food and canapés selection cooked by their resident chef.

With resident DJ's every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night pumping out smooth tunes, North Bar is the ideal place to relax and catch up with friends.

The venue can cater to any type of corporate and private function. We combine fun, lively entertainment and fantastic hospitality to deliver the best services around, and can tailor a package to suit any function style.

Functions: FUNCTION INFORMATION North bar functions are typically set aside for Saturday evenings between 6pm - 10pm, exclusively for the hirer. Other times will be considered, however Thursday and Friday afternoons are generally not as it conflicts with our afternoon trade. Trading Hours - Tuesday to Friday: 3pm - late. Saturday: 6pm - late. • Function Time: Saturdays between 6pm-10pm exclusively. Public admittance after 10pm • Capacity: 180 pax • Room Hire: $0 • Minimum Spend: $750 (this can be split between food and alcohol) • Drink Specials: A nominated Happy Hour of your choice whereby basic drinks (tap beer, house wine & champagne and first pour spirits) are tabbed at "staff prices". Special Events: TOSS THE BOSS TUESDAYS! Filp for your beer, wine or spirits and the next round could be on us! Play a game of heads or tails with the bartenders to win you drinks Tuesday 5 - 7pm • THURSDAY 1/2 PRICED COCKTAILS!
