Old Government House

Old Government House is recognised as one of Queensland's most important heritage sites.

The building recently underwent a AUD15 million restoration and is now open to the public as a House museum. Visit the house (admission is free) to get an insight into colonial life in the early days of Queensland.

Old Government House is also home to the William Robinson Gallery. Located on the first level the Gallery and study centre honours the life and work of this distinguished Queensland artist. Tours of Old Government House and the William Robinson Gallery are run regularly.
