A Word Heritage Listed rainforest, the Border Ranges lies on the New South Wales/Queensland border. It encompasses 31,683 hectares of scenic rainforest featuring deep gorges with waterfalls that plunge hundreds of metres. Bushwalkers and birdwatchers flock to this park.

This is a World Heritage rainforest park on the rim of a vast, ancient volcano. Pinnacle Lookout offers views of Mt Warning, the escarpment and all the way to the coast. The park is a haven to native fauna such as Alberts lyrebird and the pouched frog.

Enjoy views and tall forests on the walking track network. Travel along the spec-tacular Tweed Scenic Drive, a loop from Murwillumbah to Kyogle and Lismore. There is car-based camping at Sheep Station Creek or Forest Tops, and opportunities for extended backpack camping treks.
