Ballarat Wildlife and Reptile Park in Ballarat, Victoria, houses a rich collection of Australian wildlife in 16 hectares of natural bushland. Children can experience close contact with koalas, wombats, kangaroos and even crocodiles. The park is a comfortable drive from Melbourne by car or coach.

Every Sunday watch the Ballarat Wildlife Park crocodile keeper feeding the 4.2 metre saltwater crocodile! The reptile house is home to over four hundred different species of reptiles, including frogs, lizards, snakes, turtles and alligators. Watch some of our fifteen koalas in their natural habitat from the viewing platform, or watch baby koalas with their mothers in the nursery.

Our undercover café provides a selection of hot and cold appetizers and is a fully licensed venue. It can also cater for bookings. Remember your visit to the Ballarat Wildlife Park by purchasing a souvenir from our extensive range of items, including t-shirts, postcards, CD's, books and toys. Visitors can relax in the grass area to enjoy their picnic and watch the kangaroos and emus roaming freely through the park. Make use of our BBQ facilities to prepare a tasty meal, whilst the children enjoy the playground.

Experience early colonial life in a recreated 1840's Bushman's Hut, where we cater for functions. The Hut is fully enclosed and seats up to eighty people. For weddings, parties, work functions, or meetings in the Victoria's Ballarat region, keep this function centre in mind.
