Didgeridoo Hut and Art Gallery is owned and operated by Aboriginal people. Authentic art and craft is produced by artists who are part of the owners extended family who stay onsite while they are working.
Visitors can watch the artists at work and discuss the art and culture, while the ladies weave baskets and dillybags from natural fibres and make the dyes from various roots, berries and bark. Most of the artists are from Kakadu and Arnhem Land. There is also a large range of art from all over the Northern Territory, including Central Australia, Daly River, Peppimenarti and Tiwi Islands.
Non indigenous local art and craftspeople are also promoted by the Didgeridoo Hut and Art Gallery. Experience the local wildlife of emus, pythons, bluetongue lizards, birds and walleroo while you enjoy this unique experience, only a few hours drive from Darwin. Onsite tours are guaranteed to give an insight into Aboriginal culture of the Top End of the Northern Territory.
