The original Jamiesons Run was a remote outback sheep station owned by the Jamieson Brothers in the mid 1800s. Our winery, based in the heart of the famous Coonawarra region was named Jamiesons Run as a tribute to our pioneering past. Since the early 1950s we have been crafting wine from fruit grown in the Coonawarra region. We have always been at the forefront of vineyard development and fine winemaking in Coonawarra.

Coonawarra is situated in the south-east corner of South Australia. The cool maritime climate and outstanding soil profiles of the Coonawarra region are renowned for producing some of the finest wines found anywhere in the world.

By the time the 1988 vintage of the Jamiesons Run Cabernet Shiraz Merlot was awarded Australia's most prestigious trophy, the Jimmy Watson Trophy at the Royal Melbourne Show, the wines had already set new standards for quality and value. Today we continue to strive to create even better wines and set new standards for winemaking in Coonawarra.
