Rich with history, Awaba House Restaurant and Café lies on one of the oldest estates in the Hunter region, NSW. This is the third house, architecturally designed by noteworthy Newcastle architect Edwin Sara and erected in 1927, to have been built on the land at Lake Macquarie.
Between the historical walls and under the elaborate roof of Awaba House is the multi-award winning restaurant and elegant café. Art Deco in style, the conservatory Café allows diners to choose their meals from the contemporary menu whilst absorbing the glorious architecture of Awaba House.
The Café is open for brunch, morning / afternoon tea and lunch Tuesday to Sunday. The historical charm of the Restaurant is yours to enjoy Friday and Saturday evenings for dinner. Private rooms are available for your functions upon request with facilities to accommodate 6 to 16 guests. Awaba House can also play host to your wedding.
