    Situated in the heart of Sofala's historic goldfields, Chesleigh Homestead B&B or farmstay provides a range of holidays from overnight to weekends away to extended family holidays in school holiday time, with fine cooking and wonderful atmosphere of Australian country hospitality in the Central Tablelands.

    Set within a stunning 3000-acre wilderness property, Chesleigh features crackling open fires and an evening roaring campfire, excellent games room, swimming pool, super spa, tennis courts, wonderful gardens, horse riding and gold panning.

    The homestead accommodation is suitable for any number from 2 to 24, with common dining room, large entertainment verandah and amazing games room. Bedrooms are very comfortable, most with ensuite bathroom and all with a verandah. Meals are enjoyed in the dining room or the main front deck. Chesleigh is ideal for family holidays, weekends away, business conferences, weddings.

    At last there's a place where both parents and their children can 'chill out' during the school holidays - with quality activities ensuring you won't hear the dreaded 'I'm bored'. Go fishing in the river, go yabbying in the dam or just soak up the gorgeous scenery. Chesleigh`s old Cobb & Co coach roads, mining relics and old gold settlements provide wonderful walking and superb horse riding trails. For weekends away, here is the place to recharge those batteries with a mixture of activity or complete sloth.
    Conference Facilities
    Conference, the very word is a little daunting. A select band of successful companies are using Chesleigh for powerful 2 day business/pleasure mix to great effect. Our large games room makes for a relaxed but undisturbed, mobile free, focus space with the superb advantage of stepping out into the great outdoors for a refreshing pause. Our entertainments, cuisine and relaxed atmosphere, make for very effective, team building or strategic planning conferences.
    Further Information
    Chesleigh is well known for its wonderful cooking. Your breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in the daily price and everything is home cooked from the jam and muesli on the breakfast table to the delicious dessert after dinner. We use fresh local produce where possible and our menu is seasonal. Our local roast lamb is massaged with olive oil and herbs from the garden before being slowly roasted for up to 5 hours just as an example.
