The garden, a generous gift from Gosford's sister Edogawa. Covering an area of approximately 4,000 square metres the garden is a traditional Japanese 'stroll garden' enclosed by a two metre high wall. Pathways meander through various landscape settings with a tumbling stream and lake as the centre piece.
A tea house and fish feeding pavilion overlook the main body of the lake. Other features of the garden include a dry stone garden, timber footbridges, wisteria pergola and planting of pines, maples, cherries, azaleas, lotus and water lilies.
