His Majesty's Theatre

Built in 1904, resplendent with ornate gilded foyers, a superb marble staircase and a domed auditorium seating 1200 people in three tiers. It is renowned as Australia's finest example of federation free classical architecture with the most lavish and well-executed ornamentation.

The Theatre attracts the very best of drama, opera, ballet, dance and musicals in Australia. It is home to a fascinating collection of performing arts memorabilia. His Majesty's Theatre Foundation aims to preserve and enhance the theatre as Perth's grand theatrical landmark and to support it as a place of excellence for the performing arts.

Tickets may be purchased in person at the BOCS office located in the foyer area of His Majesty's Theatre from 0830 to 1730, Monday to Saturday. EFTPOS facilities are not available. Credit Card telephone bookings may be made through BOCS on 08 9484 1133 from 0830 to 2000, Monday to Saturday. Excludes Diners Card. Tickets can also be purchased up to show start time on perf.
