Paintbox Fine Art represents artists from across Australia. Located close to Canberra's city centre, the gallery is within walking distance of major city hotels and the Convention Centre. Artists are selected for their talent, dedication and skill and the vision that makes their work unique. Their works are predominantly impressionist and realist in style and include portraits, nudes, still lifes and the Australian landscape.

Many of the artists are award winners and have been finalists in major national art competitions such as the Art Gallery of NSW Archibald, Wynne & Sulman Prizes, the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize and the Fleurieu Peninsula Biennale. Prominent amongst the artists Paintbox exhibits are seven ŽmigrŽ Chinese who settled in Australia in the wake of Tianenmen Square in 1989 and have brought a new vigour to artistic life in Australia.

Open daily 11am to 6pm. Wall to wall paintings!

The directors of Paintbox Fine Art, Steve and Anne Watson have opened a branch of their gallery at 2 New Kings Road, Fulham, LONDON SW6 4SA. They have also extended their Canberra premises to include an exhibition hire space 'The Exhibition Box' for artists wishing mount their own exhibitions.

Paintbox Fine Art is located in Lonsdale Street, Braddon, between bar restaurant Debacle and the Caltex service station.
