Visit the Mining Hall of Fame, just outside of Kalgoorlie in the heart of the Western Australian Goldfields, for a unique experience that combines an historic gold mine with interactive galleries, a changing display of art works and contrasting landscapes.

The Australian Prospectors and Miners Hall of Fame brings to life a new world of exploration and discovery. Put on a hard hat and travel 36 metres underground into one of Kalgoorlie's oldest gold mines; witness a gold pour and try your hand at gold panning.

Wander through the Historic Precinct to experience a slice of the life of prospectors and miners 100 years ago. Spend some time exploring the interactive galleries of the Hall of Fame, then relax over a cappuccino before setting off to stake your claim on this fabulous region.

Getting There: The Mining Hall of Fame is situated just 3km from the centre of Kalgoorlie (Western Australia) on the Goldfields Highway. Kalgoorlie is regularly serviced by trains, buses and aircraft, and is a comfortable one day drive from Perth on excellent roads. The historic Goldfields city is just under 600 kilometres east of Perth, the sunny coastal capital of Western Australia.
Functions: The Mining Hall of Fame facility has a variety of exciting venue options for any manner of events or occasions. There is a seating capacity for up to 500 people.
