This park is named after Benjamin Boyd, a prominent 19th-century Far South Coast entrepreneur. Its rugged coastline is a colourful display of folded red rocks, standing out against the sapphire blue waters of the Pacific Ocean.

The park has sandy surf beaches, rugged bays, rock platforms, quiet campgrounds, sheltered inlets and historic lighthouses. Its heathlands and forests are home to a variety of plants and animals, including threatened species such as the ground parrot, eastern bristlebird, hooded plover, yellow-bellied glider and long-nosed potoroo.

Getting There: The northern section of the park is accessed by two routes. For the small area north of the Pambula River, take Pambula Beach Road (paved) from Pambula. For all other areas in the northern section of the park, such as Barmouth Beach, Severs Beach and The Pinnacles, take the turn-off into Haycock Road from the Princes Highway. Road quality: unpaved sections
Getting There: For the southern section of the park, turn into Edrom Road from the Princes Highway. From here you can get to Green Cape, Bittangabee Bay, Saltwater Creek and Boyds Tower. Road quality: unpaved sections
