Café Inverness and Oakfield Country Store opened in November 2004 however the walls are bursting with history. The building was constructed in the early 1800's as a Coach Inn until trains took over, and it is rumoured to have a resident spirit.
The café has the facilities to seat 92 guests in air conditioned comfort, amongst old world charm, hand-made produce with delicious meals. Head chef Anthony McDonell prepares a fantastic range of MSA certified steaks, seafood, light lunches and morning / afternoon tea. Beverages include wines, beers, spirits / cocktails, soft drinks, milk shakes and juices.
the rest rooms are carefully maintained and baby changing facilities are always available. Off street parking for 25 vehicles is provided. Functions and groups are especially catered for.
