Well-kept manicured gardens and lovely trees frame a breathtaking vista across a verdant valley to the rolling hills beyond.

Picnic tables under a canopy of vines are an ideal place to rest and survey the scene, perhaps with a drop of Elmswood's very good Chardonnay, available in both oaked and unwooded versions, or one of the correctly-styled Cabernet blends.

Remember to bring the petanque balls as there's a piste for playing a leisurely game or two in lovely surroundings.
