Annvers produce wines from the McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek regions as well as from our Estate vineyard located near Kangarilla in the Adelaide Hills. A total of 16 hectares is planted with Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz.
Our company philosophy is one of producing premium quality wines that starts with first-class grapes followed all the way through to our elegant packaging. Our fruit is always sourced from premium areas with an emphasis on low yields with a synergy between place and variety.
The wines are aged in predominately oak barriques to provide a controlled maturation process while permitting harmonious integration of aroma and flavour characters. We strive for 2-3 years average age for our barrels with the belief in adding subtlety by way of wood maturation, not oak domination.
