Dalrymple Vineyards was first planted in 1987. The vineyard now has 10ha of vines, with new plantings being made each year. Vines at Dalrymple are planted on sloping hills that overlook Bass Strait, the sea that separates Tasmania from mainland Australia. Facing northeast for maximum sunlight hours, vines thrive in ideal conditions, yielding grapes of exceptional quality.
Dalrymple Vineyards grow Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay varieties, and have been very successful in wine shows.
The spacious cellar door area overlooks an amphitheatre of manicured rows of grapevines that yield chardonnay, pinot noir and sauvignon blanc grapes which are made into award-winning wines. Marketing/Sales manager Jill Mitchell extends a warm welcome to visitors every day.
