Darwin Performing Arts Centre

Dariwn Entertainment centre is situated in Australias Top End of the Northern Territory. Located in the heart of the city, the Entertainment Centre hosts major national and international acts as well as local Eisteddfod competitions, school concerts and Darwin based artists. Facilities include the Playhouse, a large, traditional proscenium arch theatre, seating approximately 1000, and the smaller more intimate Studio Theatre. The Studio seats almost 300 in theatre mode, or just over 200 in cabaret configuration, with tables and chairs. There is also an exhibition gallery and rehearsal room. In addition, the centre also manages the Gardens Amphitheatre on behalf of the Darwin City Council.

The Centre can play host to almost any kind of performance, large or small. Equipment and facilities rival those in major venues around the world.
