The Royal Bulls Head Inn, built in 1859 (kitchen 1847/8) is one of Queensland's oldest inns. The building was functional as a post office and a private residence. It's now owned by the National Trust. Morning and afternoon teas are available. Other catering can be arranged.
The Royal Bull's Head Inn offers a fascinating insight into the life and times of people living on the Darling Downs during the 1860's. With its unique historical furnishings this hotel is a testament to how people lived.
The museum is decorated according to evidence of finishes from the 1870's. The rooms are furnished to represent the better visitors accommodation downstairs and the working men's rooms upstairs. Two rooms survive in original condition. The kitchen has recently been refurbished. Open: Thursday - Sunday 10:00am to 4:00pm.
