Affleck Vineyard

Affleck is a small winery located on Millynn Road, Bungendore. Picnic and barbecue facilities are available for use by visitors. Cheese platters can be purchased. Wines include white and red table wines, late harvest and fortified wines.

This vineyard was planted in 1976 with initial plantings of Cabernet, Rhine Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The Vineyard now covers 4 hectars including Sauvignon blanc, Semillon, Shiraz and Merlot with the grafting of Rhine Riesling to Pinot Noir nearly complete.

The vineyard was named Affleck (a corruption of 'achadh-nan-leac' - the field of stones or stoney field) after the farm in Huntly, Scotland occupied by the Hendry Family for more than 250 years ago.
