The Adelaide Convention Centre was the first purpose built convention centre in Australia. Since it's beginnings the convention centre has been renovated which more than doubled the floor space, creating a large, carpeted, pillar less space of 10,500 square metres suitable for exhibitions, banquets and 'theatre style' meetings.
At Adelaide Convention Centre there are fourteen meeting rooms suitable for groups of 10 to 200 which are located on the ground and mezzanine levels. The rooms are well suited to boardroom lunches, dinners, cocktail parties and weddings, as well as smaller seminars and meetings.
Regattas Bistro on the Riverbank of the Adelaide Convention Centre on is located on the Torrens River side of the building and offers scenic views of North Adelaide. The restaurant boasts indoor and outdoor dining, modern Australian cuisine with an Asian influence, fine dining without the price tag.
